The system grew out of an acute need for easy to use but powerful work tools not currently met with other applications.

Users can create workflows that organize complex action systems to streamline execution. This captured expertise can then be leveraged on an individual project basis by linking workflows together to achieve business goals with the least effort and highest quality possible. Workflows are automatically and dynamically prioritized by using simple links that capture the project's critical path.
Project participants can zoom in and out to view work at the appropriate level of detail - runway (actions and next actions), workflows, sub-projects, projects and workspaces. StreamFocus keeps track of information related to the work such as phone calls, emails, notes, and documents. We can show information to you based on the action at hand, the project structure, chronological order, by individual or business entity, or by conceptual classification. All time spent working by users is linked to the actions being performed. Any active engagement with StreamFocus automatically starts the timer and captures the context of work being performed, allowing managers to understand the effort required for different actions and understand where bottlenecks in the workflow are occurring.
The application supports organizing workflows based on the value created for the customer. This keeps effort prioritized on that which leads to a healthy bottom line. In addition, task flows can be made to efficiently shift work in real-time to best support changing needs.
